Career Counseling and Coaching

  • Our office provides counsel and guidance related to seeking a suitable career using defined developmental tasks/characteristics, addressing special needs and populations to include the following:  selecting a major, using the services provided, making a career decision, gaining work experience, conducting proper career research using labor market information, gaining admission to grad school, writing a resume/vita/cover letter, creating a portfolio, practicing for an effective interview, finding suitable employment, surviving the first job and using electronic resources.
